What are Sabisu Pipelines
Sabisu Pipelines simplify complex data exploitation, report generation and analytics, so that anyone can get value out of their data.
For example, end-users can easily configure:
- New reports shared onto Community dashboards
- 24/7 monitoring & alerting of key process/project metrics and KPIs
- Automated responses, e.g., alerting users or initiating an investigative process
It’s easy to pull together charts and widgets from historians like IP21, apply calculations & deploy to your colleagues.
To get started all you need to know is which Sabisu Data Object you want to use and which tags you want to analyse and if you don’t have any SDO’s Sabisu can take data directly from your Excel Spreadsheet. An SDO simply put is a tool used to connect to a specific location where your data can be retrieved (i.e. Maybe a furnace with a set of associated tags)
There are 4 simple choices for the end-user to make:
Select relevant data, regardless of source. No technical knowledge required.
Carry out calculations on that data using simple maths, complex functions, specific queries & conditional statements.
Continually check the source and/or calculated data for issues, events, changes, or an evolving risk profile.
Output a chart or a new visualisation using Templates, or take action automatically in response to changing events; trigger Actions, Events, Processes, guiding Advisories or informative Notes for relevant users.
Much of the ‘Do’ or ‘Action’ layer is already present in Sabisu: all the Pipeline has to do is trigger the appropriate Action, Process, Note or Advisory.
This is where the real power of Pipelines kicks in; triggering posts, or initiating a Process when an input meets a specific criteria. For example if a pressure falls below a set point an action can be triggered for those on shift to investigate.
How to use Sabisu Pipelines
Query a historian or SDO

Query a spreadsheet
Use Sabisu Go to publish your spreadsheet data to Sabisu so others can collaborate and contribute without the need to email multiple versions of a spreadsheet around.
If you have a data connection that is not already set up you can click here to learn how to set up your own.
